The Four Required Traits of an Entrepreneur
Need an outline of the four critical character traits of an entrepreneur?
According to the legend Alex Hormozi, you need the following:
• The power of influence
• Drive
• Impulse control, and
• The ability to simplify your business to inputs and out puts.
Once you have all these, "you become a very difficult person to beat".
The power to influence. Marketing, sales, leadership. The power to influence is a powerful individual who will be able to inspire, unite, and lead.
Having drive. Drive is the most important trait to have. It will allow you to keep going through hardships. Where the drive comes from doesn't matter, according to Alex Hormozi. Whether it is the drive toward something, to create. Or the drive to run away or avoid something like your life depends on it. Both work.
Impulse control. You need to have the ability to say no over and over and over again for an extended period of time. Otherwise, you will not be able to focus on the important things. This is huge. Focus.
Finally, be able to boil down your business to its inputs and outputs. If you can't understand the basics of your business, you are doing it wrong. Understanding what brings revenue, customers, etc. in to your business. Understanding what takes money out and what makes customers leave. These are vital to your foundation as an entrepreneur.
These are the four key character traits of a solid entrepreneur:
• The power to influence
• Drive
• Impulse control
• Simplifying your business to inputs and out puts.
With these, you will be able to weather most storms, and be able to adapt when necessary.
These will make you unstoppable.
